About Duet

Duet is an open-source asymmetric chess variant with an inverted win condition. Instead of threatening the opponent's king, you control a transformed piece that must stay in control—the game ends when your piece loses control. Play against an AI opponent, challenge a friend in local or remote multiplayer, or enable fog-of-war mode for hidden information gameplay. The unique mechanics create strategic depth beyond traditional chess.
